What do theater and language immersion have in common? We look briefly at how worlds of empathy/understanding are created onstage in theatrical contexts and how understanding the division of labor within theater can help language immersion teachers structure, maintain, and improve the language worlds they are creating within their own classrooms.

The presenter will discuss the types of music she uses in class and the many different ways that music is incorporated.
